He was just a babe in arms during the Summer of Love.
But with a flower in his hair and an echo of Jimi Hendrix’s style, this is how David  Cameron might have looked if he had chosen peace and love over politics.
Get on the wrong side of the Prime Minister in this gallery of alternative Camerons, however, and you may meet ‘punk Dave’, with blue hair and a sneer worthy of Sid Vicious.

A hippy coalition: How the Prime Minister would have looked had he followed rock and 'free love' in the 60s like guitar hero Jimi Hendrix
Then again, there’s also ‘goth Dave’ – similar to Robert Smith of The Cure – with a face as gloomy as the economy, ‘rapper Dave’ sporting a baseball cap that would be the envy of William Hague, and angelic ‘choirboy Dave’.
This bizarre Cameron family album was created to promote an annual music festival which begins on Sunday in the Prime Minister’s constituency of Witney, Oxfordshire.

Yesterday father-of-three Mr Cameron said of the posters: ‘My children found them particularly amusing – and I hope I can get my own set soon.’
The images were six months in the making and were drawn by professional illustrator Ian Cater, from Wantage. Festival organiser Derek West, 60, said: ‘We thought it would be rather fun for Mr Cameron to be included and tried to make the images affectionate.
‘I was a bit nervous what he’d think, but thankfully, he is very favourable towards them.’
